Once again we put the fun back into a beer festival!
St. Edmundsbury Cathedral, Wednesday 23rd August - Monday 28th August 2023
By kind permission of the Dean & Chapter, the 31st East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival will be held in St. Edmundsbury Cathedral, Cloisters, and Garth in Bury St Edmunds for a third year!
For six days, St Edmundsbury Cathedral hosted over 250 real ales, 40 ciders, food stalls and came alive with a Sound Stage and a full entertainment programme.

WE LOOK TO SUPPORT LOCAL CHARITIES AND GOOD CAUSES
In the past proceeds from the Beer & Cider Festival have benefited many charities with over £150,000 having been donated. Last year, alongside St. Edmundsbury Cathedral, other beneficiaries included St Nicholas Hospice and Women’s Royal Army Corps (WRAC); smaller local charities and other worthwhile causes also benefited, Click HERE to apply.
HELP MAKE THE FUN HAPPEN
The festival was organised, staffed and run entirely by volunteers. We had over 200 volunteers who undertook a variety of tasks –from cellar work to selling tickets, serving at the bar to washing glasses and much more in between – to make the magic happen.
We’d like to thank all of the volunteers from this years festival. To find out more CLICK HERE.
