Once again we’re putting the fun back in a beer festival!
Bury St. Edmunds Cathedral, Wednesday 25th – Monday 30th August 2021
By kind permission of the Dean & Chapter, the relaunch of the 29th East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival will take place in the Cathedral, Cloisters and Garth in Bury St Edmunds, coinciding with the town’s annual Food & Drink Festival and Late Summer Bank Holiday weekend.
For six days, the St Edmundsbury Cathedral will host over 200 real ales, 40 ciders, food stalls and come alive with a Sound Stage and full entertainment programme.
More information COMING SOON!
WE’RE LOOKING TO SUPPORT LOCAL CHARITIES AND GOOD CAUSES
Proceeds from the Beer & Cider Festival have, in the past, benefited many charities with over £100,000 having been donated. This year, alongside the Cathedral, other beneficiaries will include St Nicholas Hospice; smaller local charities and worthwhile causes are also invited to apply for support. Click here to apply
HELP MAKE THE FUN HAPPEN
The festival is organised, staffed and run entirely by volunteers. We need over 100 volunteers who undertake a variety of tasks – cellar work to selling tickets, serving at the bar to washing glasses and much more in between – to make the magic happen.
