Once again we put the fun back into a beer festival!
St. Edmundsbury Cathedral, Tuesday 14th – Sunday 19th June 2022
By kind permission of the Dean & Chapter, the launch of the 30th Anniversary East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival took place in St. Edmundsbury Cathedral, Cloisters, and Garth in Bury St Edmunds for a second year!
For six days, St Edmundsbury Cathedral hosted over 250 real ales, 40 ciders, food stalls and came alive with a Sound Stage and a full entertainment programme.
Dogs (on leads) were allowed in the outside areas only. Assistance dogs are permitted throughout the site.

WE LOOK TO SUPPORT LOCAL CHARITIES AND GOOD CAUSES
Proceeds from the Beer & Cider Festival have, in the past, benefited many charities with over £100,000 having been donated. This year, alongside St. Edmundsbury Cathedral, other beneficiaries included St Nicholas Hospice; smaller local charities and other worthwhile causes were also invited to apply for support. HELP MAKE THE FUN HAPPEN
The festival was organised, staffed and run entirely by volunteers. We had over 100 volunteers who undertook a variety of tasks –from cellar work to selling tickets, serving at the bar to washing glasses and much more in between – to make the magic happen.
We’d like to thank all of the volunteers from this years festival. To find out more click here.
