East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival 2024

In less than six months the 32nd East Anglian Beer & Cider Festival opens its doors once more, by kind permission of the Dean & Chapter at St Edmundsbury Cathedral, Bury St Edmunds. This year’s event will again run for six days from Wednesday 21st – Monday 26th August 2024.

The festival will continue to build on the success of the last 3 year’s events, with over 250 real ales, 40 ciders, and a range of craft beers, world beers, gin, Pimms, prosecco and soft drinks – something for everyone. All proceeds will support local charities and good causes. Last years event raised over £20,000. This year’s festival is the thirty-second, having run annually since 1991. The organisers are planning another great event, with a full entertainment programme and a range of food offerings. To make the Festival accessible for all, admission to the weekday daytime, Sunday and Monday sessions will be FREE.

Martin Bate, Beer Festival Organiser said “We so excited to be working with St Edmundsbury Cathedral again to stage what promises to be our biggest and best yet. We’re working hard with our charity partners, including St Nicholas’s Hospice, Women’s Royal Army Voluntary Corps and other local fundraisers, to ensure we have another successful year. We are already inundated with interest following three years’ success at the cathedral and are planning to get advance tickets on sale soon. We are clearly on the map as one of the Country’s premier events of this type and I am anticipating it will be a sell-out.
